At the request of residents, councilman Dione Carvalho (Agir) visited the Sol Nascente community, located in the northern zone of the capital, last Sunday (04/21), to discuss the process of land regularization in the area, one of the main demands of the community. According to the councilman, a registration of families was carried out to obtain a survey of the number of people living in the area. The data will be used to request the land regularization process from the Municipal Housing Secretariat (Semhaf). Dione Carvalho stated that he will demand a speedy process for the definitive regularization of the Sol Nascente community. “This is a demand that I always receive from the residents of the Sol Nascente community, who want the definitive registration so that they can have full guarantees of the areas,” explained the councilman. One of the registered residents, Nonato Santos, praised the initiative. “First, this will bring security. Those who own a plot of land, live on it, or want to build a business, will have the security that it will never be taken away from them. That is important. And then, there is the social aspect. Having a document with your name on it, saying that it is yours,” pointed out the resident.
